Are you moving within or out of the District ?

If you have a child(ren) enrolled in the Fairfield Public Schools and have moved, in order to change your address in Infinite Campus, you will need to provide Proof of Residency.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED TO COMPLETE ADDRESS CHANGE: If you are missing any of the required documents listed, we will not be able to change your address until all required documents are received.

Proof of Residency: Current mortgage statement, OR deed to property, OR current lease agreement (signed and executed by all parties) in parent(s)/guardian(s)’ name. Expired leases are not acceptable.
Proof of Residency: Two original current utility bills (within last 1 month) in parent(s)/guardian(s)’ name, mailing address, and date, in the form of electric, gas, water, cable (please no substitutes). Other bills or statements are not accepted). If recently moved, letters for utility companies with account set up information will be accepted in lieu of statements.
Parent Identification (each of the following is required):
- Official current and non-expired photo ID (CT driver’s license, or state issued ID card, or passport)
- Automobile registration

PLEASE NOTE: Should your child(ren) be attending a school that has placed them out of district because of the move, a letter (addressed to Dr. Zakia Parrish) requesting approval to remain at the same school to complete the current school year must be submitted at the same time as the documents. Please Note: Transportation, if such request is approved, will not be provided through FPS for the out-of-districted school. Address changes in our system can take up to several days.

I am unable to obtain a current lease or my lease has expired. What document can I bring to my appointment to prove residency?

If I choose to retain my child from attending Kindergarten until they are 6 years old, can he/she still attend the preschool program?

The ECC (Early Childhood Center) provides a fun educational experience for children who reside in Fairfield, CT. The ECC programs at Warde, Stratfield and Holland Hill (beginning with the 2024-25 school year) offer a preschool environment that meets the needs of all learners beginning at the age of three. I already have other children attending the Fairfield Public Schools. Do I need to complete this pre-registration application on line and prove residency again at my appointment?

My children and I live with a relative, who is a Fairfield resident. What additional documents would I need to bring to my appointment?

Please click on the link to download the residency affidavit that would need to be completed and notarized. The Fairfield resident that you are living with would need to attend the registration appointment and prove their residency with a mortgage statement, deed or current lease agreement along with 2 current utility bills. The parent or guardian of the student would also need to supply 2 utility bills sent to that address in their name.
