Student Records
The Fairfield Public Schools recognize that there are times during the course of a student’s educational career when a parent or eligible student (18 years or older) might wish to review (make an appointment with the school, and visually inspect) their educational records. Educational records include student cumulative files, special education files, Section 504 files, and health records. The Federal Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA) affords parents and eligible students that right. Below please find information regarding the process for requesting a review of educational records and/or a request to obtain copies of educational records.
