Welcome Jennifer Chirles, Program Director of PreK–12 Mathematics
Fairfield Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jennifer Chirles as the new Program Director of PreK–12 Mathematics, effective immediately. In this role, Dr. Chirles will lead a dynamic mathematics program that prepares students with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed for today’s world. 
Dr. Chirles brings over 20 years of experience as a teacher, building administrator, and district leader. Most recently, she served as the STEAM Supervisor at P-TECH Norwalk High School, where she led innovative curriculum design, professional learning, and STEM-focused instructional coaching.
Previously, she was Principal of Blind Brook High School in Rye Brook, NY, where she expanded AP and dual enrollment offerings and led the school to a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School designation. Earlier roles include House Principal at Trumbull High School and Mathematics Program Coordinator for Darien Public Schools.
Dr. Chirles holds a Doctor of Education from Northeastern University, a Master’s in Mathematics Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University. She also holds advanced certifications in educational administration and teaching.
