Dear FPS,

As we embark on the month of March, please join me in celebrating Women's History Month. This is a time to recognize and honor the countless contributions that women have made throughout history, shaping our world in critical ways. 

In the field of education, women have played important roles as teachers, administrators, and innovators. Their unwavering commitment has enriched the lives of many students while helping to pave the way for future generations. This month, let us take the opportunity to reflect on the pioneering work of teachers like Maria Montessori, best known for her philosophy of education. We also recognize the leadership of women in our own school district, and express gratitude for those who have made a difference in our lives.

Together, let us celebrate and honor the legacy of the women whose dedication continues to inspire our students, staff and community.
