We Want To Hear From You: 2024 Climate Survey

Your feedback is important! Fairfield Public Schools regularly surveys parents/guardians, students, and staff to gain input about our schools. The surveys are structured to evaluate school leadership and management, as well as to measure domains required by the State of Connecticut for healthy school climates: Institutional Environment, Teaching and Learning, Safety Procedures, Interpersonal Relationships, Communication, and Leadership. Survey results are also used to determine school and staff improvement goals.

The survey link is open now through May 3 at 4:00 pm. Please access the parent/guardian survey here. If you have questions, contact your school’s administration. Thank you for your participation.

FPS Educators Named Fund For Teachers Fellows

Congratulations to Fairfield Warde High School Science Teacher Timothy Foster and Roger Ludlowe Middle School Special Education Teacher Kelly Lindine on being selected to receive a Fund for Teachers fellowship!

Fund for Teachers is a national organization that provides fellowships for teachers to self-design and embark on summer professional growth experiences.

Mr. Foster will study the impact of global carbon dioxide emissions on the environmental systems of Hawaii and the effects on ecotourism. Ms. Lindine plans to attend a nature-based learning conference in Seattle in order to study marine and freshwater conservation in multiple environments in the Pacific Northwest.

We look forward to hearing about these wonderful adventures and how they will help to create unique lessons and experiences for our students in the classroom!
