Dear Members of the Fairfield Public Schools Community
There was a lot of learning in Fairfield, Connecticut today. Congratulations to everyone involved for their commitment and collaboration. There should be a lot of pride today as well.
I hope your day went very well. In a district so large, I am sure there were some issues and not everything went as planned. That is expected. We are committed to working through the issues with you. It is important that you continue to read the updates, as they will indicate any changes. If family circumstances prevent students from doing work please let your teachers know. Our priority has been, and will remain, the health of your children, your family members, and yourselves.
Two updates below. We are working on other issues and will share updates as soon as possible.
We will no longer be serving hot meals during the distance-learning period. All meals will be grab and go. Please keep in mind that you can pick up breakfast and lunch during the breakfast hour.
Elementary Parent Conferences are canceled. Progress reports will be sent Wednesday, March 25. If after receiving your report, you have concerns about your child’s progress please email the teacher directly.
Thank you, and take care. Get some sleep (students too). Tomorrow is a full day.
