World News Tonight Webquest

We began the year with this webquest as a culminating activity to the basic geography skills unit. Our goal was to put into action some of the terms and concepts the students had just learned. In addition, we wanted the students to work in pairs, follow directions, gain experience navigating different websites, gather data, analyze data and think about their findings.

What you need to do:

1. Divide class into pairs

2. Print out and copy checklist sheets for each group (on legal paper!)

3. Print out map from Enchanted Learning, enlarge to legal size and make enough copies for each group

4.  Print out 2 or 3 Correcting Sheets and Extra Credit Answers, then laminate them. The         students will check their own data.

5. Follow the Webquest and Enjoy!
